I think, I should talk about this section…Most of the people right now like to watch movie right??? ...

But, I dun want to talk about the interest of the film….but I really like to discuss here about our film industry situation……really worried…

You all just see at the new film products right now….most of them story about social problems occur among teenagers….

It is ok to do that, but the problem is the way of the films are presented…..I know, the story sometimes bring the lessons…..but, how about the way of the story…..

Example here are

Rempit-show how to race motorbike

Kl drift-Show how to race cars……Show how teenagers get social interaction…

Bohsia- show how girl’s life

The new one is jalang- show the prostitute’s life….

In those films, they use beautiful and sexy girl to attract people…..then sometimes, the private actions also included….how they can be???
I believe, people will get more bad attraction compared to the lessons prepared in the films….

People will try to follow the actions….People who live like that will proud….

Last day, I bought one kitab title Matli’ul Badrin Wa Majmu’ Al-Bahrain…One kitab written By Tuan Guru Al-fatani….This kitab Basically about syariat im Syafiee mazhab…Very thick kitab almost like my academic book…anatomy book…

But, I really worried when I read one sentence yesterday….about solah…It said, One of the condition of solah accepted is the people must know how to perform the solah and also know which movement or action is Sunat and fardhu….

Then I start to think…..

Today, how many people learn about solah…..

How many people know how to differentiate all those things…..

So, will their solah accepted….

Really sad right……

Keep Changing From Day 2 Day.....

Today, before I got my ruminant final exam, one uncle had talk to me something that gave a deep effect in my heart…During that time in my faculty surau when I was studying, one uncle suddenly came into that surau and took ablution and directly pray the dhuha prayer….After he prayed he stood up and sat back…then he started to talk with me and one my friend….

He said, Salam, Do u study???

I answered, yes…

Then he said with joking, if u have problem during exam, just ask lecturer…..
Then I said with a little smile…Yes….

Then he started to tell us about his life…..
He said, during the old time, he stayed at the area which now had been build UPM mosque….during that time, everyday he walked from his house to the main library of UPM…Then after he got his first salary, he spent his money to buy a bike…Then, everyday, he went to the library with his new bike…
Then he also talked to me about his family….He said, he has one son and one daughter who already studied in university…..he said he had no problems during his son and his daughter went to the university…Many of his relatives wonder where he got the money???? He said, planning is very important…Then he adviced us to keep money for future use….

But, he also said that, he did not miss to pray dhuha prayer and also woke up for last 10 days in Ramadhan months seeking for Lailatul Qadar….He also said to me that he always start his day with Ayat Seribu Dinar….Then, the most focus important thing he said to me was…. Don’t forget to pray to Allah SWT….Allah will always accept your pray……

Then, I start to think….Yes, before this…I am not really serious in pray….
So I determine to always pray to Allah SWT…….mainly since the final exam is just around the corner….

Why Raisin So Special????

Nabi Muhammad SAW bersabda: "Biasakanlah memakan kismis kerana kismis dapat menghilangkan kepahitan (empedu/cairan kuning), menghilangkan lendir, menyihatkan badan, membaguskan rupa, menguatkan saraf dan menghilangkan letih".

Imam Ali berkata: "Barangsiapa memakan 21 biji kismis merah, maka dia tidak akan melihat pada jasadnya suatu yang tidak disenangi".

Imam Ali berkata: "Kismis dapat menguatkan jantung, menghilangkan penyakit, menghilangkan panas dan memulihkan kesihatan jiwa".

Pada riwayat lain dari Abi Ja'far At-Thusi disebutkan bahawa kismis dapat menghilangkan lendir dan menyihatkan jiwa".

In addition, raisin also cantain antioxidant known as catechin. This antioxidant basically is completely absorbed in human body. This substance helps to maintain our colon to be functioned well.

Furthermore, raisin is contains potassium and fibre. It is also contains fructose which is natural sugar and it will be a good energy source for human.
Based on the research done by College of dentistry in Chicago, Raisin contains a substance called phytochemical which obstacles the replication of bacteria in mouth. This will decrease the gum and teeth problems.

Raisin also contains iron mineral which is function in blood formation. More iron mineral will increase the volume of the blood and it will generate the oxygen transportation more efficient. Students always feel sleepy because there is not enough oxygen supply to the brain mainly in rest or sit. Raisin which supplies the iron mineral will increase the volume and the efficiency of the blood and in simple word it will able to prevent tiredness and sleepy.

In addition, Raisin also contains Boron which is important for bone. Boron is function to prevent Osteoporosis in human.

So…eat raisin daily for our own health…Let’s try!!!!

One day in ISA rally...So exhausted!!!

Today, I went to Kuala Lumpur to join a demonstration for ISA.Waa very anxiety right??? Hmm, There were three groups of crowd had planned. First at SOGO, second at Masjid Jamek and thirdly at Masjid Negara. All the groups had planned to go to Istana Negara to give a memorandum to Yang Di Pertuan Agong.
My friends and I went there quite early and at that time, not many people there.... Fortunately, Polices did not check us and they just ignored..hahaha… . So we had no problems to go into Masjid Negara. Then, after that, we just look around and waiting more people came in…..In waiting, we saw some people had asked by polices.the polices made some checks to them….and some of the people had been detained….Waaa, Pity on them right???
After praying, I turned down from the mosque and at that time our commander had came in…He is Dr Hatta….So, we must follow his instruction….Then we started our walked to Istana Negara….But in the middle of the road, we had blocked with some polices and then….from far…..the people who is wearing red helmet were coming…..They are FRU….waaa...
FRU just shooted some BoMbs to us and we ran away….run! run! run!...
I felt very pain in my nose and In my eye…..liquid from my eyes started to reach my cheek….wa…very discomfortable….But it is ok….I used some salt to recover my pain…When I turned around, I saw many people in unstable condition….some of them ran away and fall off…some of them ran to a bush area….some of them ran without shoes and slippers…many more….
After we ran to the other side….we met FRU….then we moved to another side and we met FRU again…so, it mean we had been controlled by them…..where should we ran???? I said I don’t know….we just follow all people…In my heart, where I should ran?? Or maybe today I will arrest by police???
Then my friend looked at some people who met FRU and They hold up their arms as a symbol they surrender…..Unfortunately, the FRU straightly aim the edge of the water cannon to them and finally someof them were wet with the chemical water….Yaaaah…Really bad action…
After almost 2 hours away and ran back…finally I moved to a building and finally we went back to Kuala Lumpur Commuter and bought some tickets to go back to UPM….Wa…really exhausted…
Well, after joining this demo, I impressed with the spirits and commitments of people who came to protest the ISA system….Some of them came from Kelantan, Terengganu, Kedah and many more places….I pray so that Allah received all works that we had done…Amin Ya Rabbal Alamin…

Dr. Burhanuddin Al-Helmy; A Brief Introduction About His Life And Thoughts

In Malaysian history, the name of Dr. Burhanuddin al-Helmy is hardly ever seen and known. His contributions, works, ideas, thoughts and many more are being kept silence. But lately Alhamdulillah, many scholars are giving much emphasize and doing research about Dr. Burhanuddin and his associates. The role played by Dr. Burhanuddin during pre-independent, during and post independent are very significant and should be noted by all people in Malaysia particularly because the truth should be presented in a very decent way. Moreover, when we look thoroughly about his ideas, writings, and activism, there are three major themes which he tried to emphasized and achieved. According to Kamarudin Jaafar, the major themes of Dr. Burhanuddin are: (1) Islam, (2) Malay Nationalism, and (3) Independence (Kamarudin Jaafar 2000: 9). It is obvious that the education of him as well as the family background of him had a great influence and impact upon him.

In this short and brief explanation about Dr. Burhanuddin al-Helmy, in the first chapter I will present details about his life background. It is important for any individuals to know the background of a person so that we could make a fair judgment and understands the environment that he lived in. For the case of Dr. Burhanuddin, his backgrounds of life are very interesting and amazing to learn.

For the second chapter, I will focus and try to elaborate the role of Islam in his political activism, thoughts and some of his writings. He played and important role in many political parties like Parti Kebangsaan Melayu Malaya (PKMM), Majlis Agama Tertinggi Se-Malaya (MATA), Hizbul Muslimin, PUTERA-AMCJA, Parti Rakyat Malaya (PRM), Parti Islam Se-Malaya (PAS) and many more. Moreover, it should be noted that Dr. Burhanuddin wrote many books about his ideas compared to his counterparts who probably never wrote at all.

In the third chapter, I will draw some major conclusion about Dr. Burhanuddin and some analysis about him overall.

Chapter 1

A Brief Background of
Dr. Burhanuddin al-Helmy

Dr. Burhanuddin real name is Burhanuddin bin Haji Muhammad Nor. He was born in Changkat Tualang, Kota Bharu, Perak on the 29th August 1911. Some scholars said that he was born on 26th November 1911 (Ramlah Adam 1999: 124). His father, Haji Muhammad Noor worked as a farmer and was a very pious man. It is reported that Haji Muhammad Noor lineage was from a royal family of Sumatra. He was also a student to a prominent religious leader in Makkah and Sheikh Mohammad Khatib Minangkabau (M. Fuzi Omar 2005: 290). Dr. Burhanuddin received the title of ‘al-Helmy’ which means a person who is gentle, tranquil and never angry because of his late father was referred also as ‘Abi Halim’ by his friends due to his kindness, softhearted and calm person. Apart from the title of ‘al-Helmy’, Dr. Burhanuddin was also referred as ‘Pak Doktor’ by many people due to his profession as a homeopathy doctor. Dr. Burhanuddin mother’s name was Sharifah Zahrah binti Habib Osman. She was from a mixed parentage of Malay-Indian Muslim and she was also regarded highly in her society.

His parents played an important role in shaping the mind Dr. Burhanuddin in the early stage of his life. He was brought up in an Islamic ambiance by his own parents, since his father was a very pious man. He received his formal education in Sekolah Melayu Behrang Ulu, Sekolah Melayu Bakap until standard three and then moved to Sekolah Melayu Kota Bahru. He realized his true potential and tendency to learn religious knowledge compared to other knowledge. After he finished his Malay School education, in 1924, he was sent to Sungai Jambu, Sumatra to learn Islamic knowledge. It should be noted here that in 1924, while he was at the age of thirteen years old, he made his first contact and learned with several religious Kaum Muda (Reformist group). He was indeed had been touched and influenced by the movement of Kaum Muda and later on, shaped his thought and action. He explained this when he said:

“When I was learning in Indonesia, I was able to learn the Dutch language and my religious teachers were those of Youth Faction who had the progressive understanding of Islam. From then, my thought was formed after receiving the modern explanation and approach.” (Burhanuddin 1949:37)
'
After he completed his studies in Sumatra for two years and master the Dutch language, he went back to Tanah Melayu to futher his study in Sekolah Pondok located at Pulau Pisang, Jitra, Kedah. He didn’t stay long in the Sekolah Pondok because he felt that the teaching methodology of Sekolah Pondok didn’t suit his style and he was uncomfortable with it. Immediately his father transferred him to Madrasah al- Mashor al-Islamiah, Pulau Pinang in 1927. He was only sixteen years old when he was admitted to Madrasah al-Mashor in 1927. At this period of time, he was able to master Arabic language within a short period of time.

In 1928, he went to India to further his studies and to gain experience by doing expedition. Dr. Burhanuddin was exposed to the Independence movement made by Mahatma Gandhi and other prominent individuals like Pandit Nehru, Mohd Ali Jinnah and many others while his staying in India. It can be said that the exposure he experienced in India, had made him aware and realized the importance of independence when he came back to Tanah Melayu. He obtained a degree in homeopathy at Ismaeliah Medical College, New Delhi. His passion of knowledge is very fascinating. He was able to master some languages like English, German, Dutch and French while he was studying in India. Apart from that, he also learned about psychology of teaching, metaphysics, spiritual knowledge, philosophy and comparative religion (M. Fuzi Omar 2005: 291). It is also reported that he did his Ph.D dissertation in Aligarh Muslim University and after completed his studies, he traveled to Middle East Countries and came back to Tanah Melayu in 1935 (he was only twenty four years old).

In his return to Tanah Melayu, he taught Arabic at Al-Junid Arabic School in Singapore and during this period, he was also an editor to a magazine called Taman Bahagia. Within just one and half an hour of the first publication, he was jailed for a period of six months. The British regime in Tanah Melayu felt that his writing could initiate some unwanted behavior among the Malays during those times. After he had been released, in 1939, Dr. Burhanuddin and with a help of Dr. Rajah, opened homeopathic clinics in Singapore and Johor Bharu but lasted only in 1942.

Dr. Burhanuddin was also active in Jam’iyyah al-Islamiyyah Singapore, as its Secretary. In 1937, he represented his organization in a debate with the traditional ulema at Sri Cemerlang Palace, Kelantan. The issue that was to debate was about dog saliva. He went to Kelantan with Haji Abbas Mohd Taha who was the Grand Judge of Singapore (Kamaruddin Jaafar 2000: 17).

It should be noted that during the Japanese occupation in Tanah Melayu, Dr. Burhanuddin was appointed as an advisor of the Malay Custom and Culture by the Japanese. Because of his high position, he used his authority to protect and assist a well-known Islamic religious school, which can be considered important in the development of history of Tanah Melayu (Malaysia) which is Ma’ahad al-Ehya as-Sharif, Gunung Semanggol Perak. Regarding to this religious school, Dato’ Onn Jaafar, as the President of UMNO always referred Ma’ahad al-Ehya as-Sharif as a threat (danger) from the mountain (Ramlah Adam 2004: 323)

Chapter 2

The Role of Islamic Values in His Political Activism, Thoughts and Writings
'
In one of the research made by Professor W.R. Roff, he focused three elitist groups that tried to initiate nationalism sentiment. One of the groups is the Islamic reformist (Arab educated), radical intellectual (Malay educated) and the Malay administrators (English educated) whereby the majority of this group is from Malay aristocrats and Royal family (W.R. Roff 1975: 268). Roff argued that the system of education produced the three types of elitist group But in the case of Dr. Burhanuddin, it is hard for us to identified to which group he belongs too. This is because of his attitudes and political participation which involved two major streams of Malay nationalism which are Islam and so called ‘leftist’.

Dr. Burhanuddin joined Kesatuan Melayu Muda (KMM) in 1939. He was introduced by Mustapha Hussain but he did not participated very actively in this organization. According to Ramlah Adam, the main reason why the young Malays established KMM is because of their high political awareness (Ramlah Adam 2004: 3). But in 1940, many of KMM leaders were under arrest by the British regime like Ibrahim Haji Yaacob, Sutan Djenain, and Ahmad Boestamam which eventually disabled the movement of KMM.

During the Japanese Occupation in Tanah Melayu, he was appointed as the ‘Advisor on Malay Custom and Culture’ which was located in Taiping, Perak. This position of him can be considered the highest ranking officer for Malays. The interesting part is that, he managed to organized two Islamic congress during the Japanese Occupation and prepared whatever it may seem necessary for independence of Tanah Melayu. He was also able to protect and assist Ma’ahad al-Ehya as-Sharif, Gunung Semanggol Perak from any harm made by the Japanese soldiers.

Kesatuan Rakyat Indonesia Semenanjung (KRIS) was established by Onan Siradj and Ibrahim Yaacob in 1945 after the Japanese regime had abolished KMM. KRISS received its main support from the Japanese regime and give independence to KRIS.
'
It can be said that Dr. Burhanuddin role in Parti Kebangsaan Melayu Malaya (PKMM) is the most interesting part in his political activism. Many members of PKMM were from KMM and supported the idea of Melayu Raya/Indonesia Raya. Apart from that, many of its leaders are associated to the communist. Even though there are some true facts about the role of communist and socialism in PKMM, but Dr. Burhanuddin was able to neutralize these elements and have strong in his idealism and action.

Dr. Burhanuddin became Parti Islam Se-Malaya (PAS) members on 14th December 1956 and became the President of PAS on 25th December 1956. He was approached by some PAS leaders like Haji Hassan Adli and others and guarantees that the leadership of PAS will be trusted to Dr. Burhanuddin (M. Fuzi Omar 2005: 300). Under the leadership of Dr.Burhanuddin, the popularity of the party became famous and being accepted by the Malays as well. In 1956 and 1959, the seat of presidency was being contested and Zulkifli whom opposed him in the presidency post. No doubt that Dr. Burhanuddin personality, appearance and attitude had won the heart of many PAS members and thus elected him as the new President of PAS.

Thoughts and Writings of Dr. Burhanuddin al- Helmy
When discussing about Dr. Burhanuddin al-Helmy, the theme of Islam is very apparent in his daily life. He wrote many books about politics, Tasawwuf and medicine. Compared to his counterparts in politics during his period, it is obvious that Dr. Burhanuddin wrote many books, wrote his own speeches and spread his own thoughts to the masses. Among the famous books that he wrote is Sejarah Perjuangan Kita, Falsafah Kebangsaan Melayu, Ugama dan Politik dan Ideologi Politik Islam.

In his book (Sejarah Perjuangan Kita; published in 1946) in chapter VI, he quoted many verses from the Quran. This means that his worldview is based on Islam and he is trying as best as he could to spread the message of Islam. He emphasized a lot about faith, body, nation and territory. All of these elements are interrelated and vital to the Malays. We must get independents first in order to established Islam system of life. If we do not get independent, we do not control our country, it is useless to promote the message of Islam. He also added that politics should be compatible to Islam, and not Islam should be compatible to politics.

In his another book entitled Falsafah Kebangsaan Melayu, he gave emphasize on the topic of “Kebangsaan Dalam Islam”. He wrote:

“Islam memandang kebangsaan itu sebagai suatu alat bukan tujuan. Kebangsaan hendaklah mengambil tempat yang sederhana dan bulat sebagai suatu lambang yang boleh menarik dan menyatukan suatu bahagian tenaga untuk mencapai cita-cita mulia yang besar dan abadi, sebagimana Islam memandang dunia bukan tujuan tetapi hanya satu alat atau tunggangan yang menyampaikan ke akhirat”. (Burhanuddin 1954)

It is clear that Dr. Burhanuddin viewed nationalism as not an end but as a medium to the hereafter. And even he stated that nationalism he perceived is very wide and not rigid compared to others understanding of nationalism. But in the end, Rustam A. Sani argued that nationalism movement in Tanah Melayu as a movement of ‘failed nationalism’ because it is not based on Malay itself.

Chapter 3

Conclusion
'
Dr. Burhanuddin major theme is always been Islam. In his early childhood until he holds the post of President of PAS, the political journey of his is always interesting. In his message to the masses, he gave many examples from Quran, hadith and even some historical settings which are relevant to the subject. Ahmad Boestamam in his one book also acknowledge to role of Islam in Dr. Burhanuddin thought. He never gave up easily even though he was capture, tortured, harsh criticisms and accusation, but he never gave up hope easily and perceived it as a challenge from Allah S.W.T.

From what I could understand, he showed a good living example between Islam and politics. In every political organization he joined and even any movement, his manifestation of Islam is always noticeable. Some would say that KMM is based on true nationalism ideology but Dr. Burhanuddin joined and assist the organization. Some even labeled PKMM as communist and socialist party but when we looked deep through, I would say that it is not true. Dr. Burhanuddin role in these various organizations had a huge impact on Tanah Melayu political atmosphere be it in pre-Independence or post-Independence. Last but not least, I would like to quote few words of Dr. Burhanuddin which I found it very touching and interesting;

History Of Jews

As indicated earlier, all Palestinian land - particularly Jerusalem - are sacred to Jews, Christians, and Muslims. The reason for this is that most of the prophets God sent to warn people spent part or all of their lives on this land.

According to historical studies based on archeological excavations and sacred texts, Prophet Ibrahim, his sons, and a small number of people who followed him first migrated to Palestine - known then as Canaan - in the nineteenth century bce. The Qur'anic commentaries (tafsir) indicate that Ibrahim (Abraham), peace be upon him, thought to have lived in the Palestinian area known today as Al-Khalil (Hebron), settled there with Prophet Lut (Lot). The Qur'an reports of his migration as follows:

We said: "Fire, be coolness and peace for Ibrahim!" They desired to trap him, but We made them the losers. We delivered both him and Lut to the land which We had blessed for all beings. (Qur'an, 21:69-71)

This region, described as "the land which We had blessed," is mentioned in various Qur'anic commentaries as referring to the land of Palestine.

Before Ibrahim, peace be upon him, the Canaanite (Palestinian) people were idolaters. He convinced them to abandon their idolatry and recognize the one and only God. According to historical sources, he settled his wife Hajar and his son Isma'il (Ishmael) in Mecca and its surroundings, while another wife, Sara, and his second son Ishaq (Isaac) stayed in Canaan. Likewise, the Qur'an mentions that Prophet Ibrahim settled some of his sons in the vicinity of al-Bayt al-Haram, which, according to the Qur'anic commentaries, is located in the valley of Mecca.

Our Lord, I have settled some of my offspring by Your Sacred House in an uncultivated valley. Our Lord, let them perform prayer. Make the hearts of mankind incline towards them and provide them with fruits, so that hopefully they will be thankful. (Qur'an, 14:37)

However, Ishaq's son Ya'qub (Jacob) emigrated to Egypt during his son Yusuf (Joseph)'s royal appointment. (Ya'qub's sons also are remembered as the "Children of Israel.") After Yusuf's release from prison and appointment as the head of the Egyptian treasury, the Children of Israel lived in peace and security in Egypt.

Somehow, their condition changed over time, and Pharoah treated them with great cruelty. God made Musa (Moses) His prophet during this period, and ordered him to lead them out from Egypt. He went to Pharaoh, asked him to give up his pagan beliefs and to surrender to God, and to free the Children of Israel also called Israelites. But Pharaoh was a cruel and savage tyrant. He had enslaved the Children of Israel, working them almost to death, and then ordered the execution of male children. Continuing his cruelty, he responded hostilely towards Musa. To prevent his own followers - actually his sorcerers - from believing in Musa, he threatened to cut their alternate hands and feet.

Following the death of Prophet Yusuf (Joseph), the Children of Israel endured great cruelty at the hands of Pharaoh.

Although Pharaoh refused permission, Musa, peace be upon him, and his people fled Egypt, with the help of God's miracles, in approximately 1250 bce. They settled in the Sinai Peninsula and in eastern Canaan. In the Qur'an, Musa commands the Children of Israel to enter Canaan:

My people, enter the Holy Land, which God has ordained for you. Do not turn back in your tracks and so become transformed into losers. (Qur'an, 5:21)

After Musa, peace be upon him, the Israelites continued to live in Canaan (Palestine). Again according to historians, Dawud (David) became the Israelis' king and created a powerful kingdom. During the reign of his son Sulayman (Solomon), Israel's borders extended from the Nile River in the south to the Euphrates River in today's Syria to the north. This was a magnificent period for the Israelite kingdom in many fields, particularly architecture. In Jerusalem, Sulayman had a magnificent palace and temple built. After his death, God sent many more prophets to the Children of Israel, though in most cases they did not listen to them and rebelled against God.
Those who disbelieve filled their hearts with fanatical rage - the fanatical rage of the Time of Ignorance - and God sent down serenity to His Messenger and to the believers, and bound them to the expression of guarding against evil which they had most right to and were most entitled to. God has knowledge of all things.
(Qur'an, 48:26)

As a result of their degeneracy, the Israelite kingdom dissolved and was occupied by various idolatrous peoples, and the Israelites, also known as Jews at the time, were enslaved once again. When Palestine was occupied by the Roman Empire, Prophet 'Isa (Jesus), peace be upon him, came and once again invited the Children of Israel to forsake their pride, superstitions, and rebelliousness and to live according to God's religion. Very few Jews believed in him; most of the Children of Israel denied him. And, as the Qur'an reports, they were: "Those among the tribe of Israel who disbelieved were cursed on the tongue Dawud and that of 'Isa, son of Maryam." (Qur'an, 5:78) After some time, God plagued the Jews with the Romans, who drove all of them out of Palestine.

Our reason for this lengthy explanation is to show that the Zionists' fundamental contention that "Palestine is the land God promised to the Jews" is not true. This topic will be examined in more detail in the chapter on Zionism.

Zionism interprets the concepts of "chosen people" and "promised land" through a racist lense. According to this claim, everyone descended from the Jews is "chosen" and owns "the promised land." However, race has no value in the sight of God, for what is important is godliness and righteousness. In God's eyes, the chosen ones are those who continue to follow the religion of Ibrahim, no matter what their race may be.

The Qur'an also emphasizes this fact. God announces that Ibrahim's heirs are not the Jews who boast of being "children of Ibrahim," but the Muslims who live according to his religion:

Pork Forbidden???

The fact that consumption of pork is prohibited in Islam is well known. The following points explain various aspects of this prohibition:

1. Pork prohibited in Qur’an
The Qur’an prohibits the consumption of pork in no less than 4 different places. It is prohibited in 2:173, 5:3, 6:145 and 16:115.
“Forbidden to you (for food) are: dead meat, blood, the flesh of swine, and that on which hath been invoked the name of other than Allah.” [Al-Qur’an 5:3]
The above verses of the Holy Qur’an are sufficient to satisfy a Muslim as to why pork is forbidden.

2. Pork prohibited in the Bible
The Christian is likely to be convinced by his religious scriptures. The Bible prohibits the consumption of pork, in the book of Leviticus
“And the swine, though he divide the hoof, and be cloven footed, yet he cheweth not the cud; he is unclean to you”.
“Of their flesh shall ye not eat, and their carcass shall ye not touch, they are unclean to you.”
[Leviticus 11:7-8]
Pork is also prohibited in the Bible in the book of Deuteronomy
“And the swine, because it divideth the hoof, yet cheweth not the cud, it is unclean unto you. Ye shall not eat of their flesh, nor touch their dead carcass.”
[Deuteronomy 14:8]
A similar prohibition is repeated in the Bible in the book of Isaiah chapter 65 verse 2-5.

3. Consumption of pork causes several diseases
The other non-Muslims and atheists will agree only if convinced through reason, logic and science. Eating of pork can cause no less than seventy different types of diseases. A person can have various helminthes like roundworm, pinworm, hookworm, etc. One of the most dangerous is Taenia Solium, which is in lay man’s terminology called tapeworm. It harbours in the intestine and is very long. Its ova i.e. eggs, enter the blood stream and can reach almost all the organs of the body. If it enters the brain it can cause memory loss. If it enters the heart it can cause heart attack, if it enters the eye it can cause blindness, if it enters the liver it can cause liver damage. It can damage almost all the organs of the body.
Another dangerous helminthes is Trichura Tichurasis. A common misconception about pork is that if it is cooked well, these ova die. In a research project undertaken in America, it was found that out of twenty-four people suffering from Trichura Tichurasis, twenty two had cooked the pork very well. This indicates that the ova present in the pork do not die under normal cooking temperature.

4. Pork has fat building material
Pork has very little muscle building material and contains excess of fat. This fat gets deposited in the vessels and can cause hypertension and heart attack. It is not surprising that over 50% of Americans suffer from hypertension.

5. Pig is one of the filthiest animals on earth
The pig is one of the filthiest animals on earth. It lives and thrives on muck, faeces and dirt. It is the best scavenger that I know that God has produced. In the villages they don’t have modern toilets and the villagers excrete in the open air. Very often excreta is cleared by pigs.
Some may argue that in advanced countries like Australia, pigs are bred in very clean and hygienic conditions. Even in these hygienic conditions the pigs are kept together in sties. No matter how hard you try to keep them clean they are filthy by nature. They eat and enjoy their own as well as their neighbour’s excreta.

6. Pig is the most shameless animal
The pig is the most shameless animal on the face of the earth. It is the only animal that invites its friends to have sex with its mate. In America, most people consume pork. Many times after dance parties, they have swapping of wives; i.e. many say “you sleep with my wife and I will sleep with your wife.” If you eat pigs then you behave like pigs. We Indians look upon America to be very advanced and sophisticated. Whatever they do, we follow after a few years. According to an article in Island magazine, this practice of swapping wives has become common in the affluent circles of Bombay.

The Challenge Of The Quran

The Quran is not only unique in the way in which it presents its subject matter, but it is also unique in that it is a miracle itself. By the term “miracle,” we mean the performance of a supernatural or extraordinary event which cannot be duplicated by humans. It has been documented that Prophet Muhammad, may God praise him, challenged the Arabs to produce a literary work of a similar caliber as the Quran, but they were unable to do so in spite of their well-known eloquence and literary powers. The challenge to reproduce the Quran was presented to the Arabs and mankind in three stages:

l. The Whole Quran

In the Quran, God commanded the Prophet to challenge all of creation to create a book of the stature of the Quran:

“Say: ‘If all mankind and the jinn would come together to produce the like of this Quran, they could not produce its like even though they exerted all and their strength in aiding one another.’” (Quran 17:88)

2. Ten Chapters

Next, God made the challenge ostensibly easier by asking those who denied its divine origin to imitate even ten chapters of the Quran:

“Or do they say that he has invented it? Say (to them), ‘Bring ten invented chapters like it, and call (for help) on whomever you can besides God, if you are truthful.” (Quran 11:13)

3. One Chapter

This final challenge was to produce even a single chapter to match what is in the Quran, whose shortest chapter, al-Kawthar, consists of only three verses:

“And if you all are in doubt about what I have revealed to My servant, bring a single chapter like it, and call your witnesses besides God if you are truthful.” (Quran 2:23)

These challenges were not just empty words with no one caring to prove them wrong. Prophet Muhammad’s call to monotheism, to the abolition of idolatry in all its forms, and to the equality of slaves and their masters threatened the whole socio-economic framework of Mecca society in general, and the position of the ruling Quraishee tribe from which the Prophet came in particular. Mecca, the trading center of Arabia, as well as its spiritual center, desperately wanted to stop the spread of Islam. Yet all that the Prophet’s opponents had to do to crush the movement was to make up a single chapter like any one of those which the Prophet and his followers were reciting to the people. A number of Quraishee orators and poets tried to imitate the Quran, but they failed. They then resorted to offering him vast amounts of wealth, the position of king over them, and the most noble and beautiful of their women in exchange for his promise to stop inviting people to Islam. He responded to them by reciting the first thirteen verses of Chapter Fussilat, until they asked him to stop.[1] The Quraish also resorted to torturing their slaves and relatives who had embraced Islam in a vain attempt to cause them to revert to paganism. Later they organized an economic boycott against the Prophet his followers and the members of his clan, Banu Hashim, in an attempt to starve them into submission. But even this plan eventually failed. Finally, they plotted to kill him in his home by sending armed young men from each of the clans of Quraish in order that the guilt of his murder be shared by all the clans, making revenge by the Prophet’s clan impossible.

However, God enabled the Prophet and his followers to flee Mecca and join a new band of converts who had arisen among the tribes of a city to the north called Yathrib. Islam spread rapidly through the clans of Yathrib, and within a year Muslims became the city’s majority. Prophet Muhammad was then made the ruler, and the name of the city was changed to Medina an-Nabi (The City of the Prophet may God praise him), which was then shortened to “Medina.” Over the next eight years, the clans of Mecca and its neighboring lands mounted a series of unsuccessful battle campaigns against the emerging Muslim state in Medina, which ended with the Muslim invasion of Mecca itself.

All of this bloodshed could have been avoided if only the Quraish and their allies had been able to produce a mere three lines of poetry or flowing prose similar to the shortest chapter of the Quran. Hence, there can be no doubt about the inimitability of the Quran’s literary style, about the miracle of its rhyme and the marvel of its rhythm.

It has been suggested that the inimitability of the Quran is not necessarily unique, for great English poets like Shakespeare, Chaucer, or great poets in any language tend to have distinctly unique styles which set them apart from their contemporaries. However, if, for example, some leading poet of today were to make an in-depth study of Shakespeare’s writings and write a sonnet in Shakespeare’s style in old ink and on old paper, then claim that he had discovered a lost poem of Shakespeare’s, the literary world would probably accept this claim, even after careful study. Thus, even the greatest of poets could be imitated; no matter how unique his style was, just as the famous painters have been imitated. [In fact, some English scholars consider much of what has been attributed to Shakespeare to have been written by his contemporary, Christopher Marlowe.] The Quran, however, is way above this level, as attempts to forge chapters have been made throughout the ages, yet none has withstood close scrutiny. And, as was mentioned before, the incentive to imitate the Quran was more intense during the time of its revelation when literally skills were at their peak than at any other time, yet there was no successful attempt.

Last saturday night,after an exhausted activity on its day, finally we arrived at the Gunung Ledang Base camp...We felt very exhausted and a little bit sleepy...but since we determine to reach at the top of Gunung Ledang together, finally we hold our feeling and straightly join some next programs....

Hmmm,b4 we slept, actually we have a program that i think it is really caused some perceptions in my mind and my heart....In this program, we just talk all the problems occur before and from this event, we will know ourselves better....we will know who is brave, we will know who is angry...hahahaa...and many more....

Hmmm, sometimes think, human always forget what should they do mainly the main task given by Allah SWT.....always forget....so that why i think how important the tazkirah(reminder) to make sure ourselves stay in correct directions....right???

waa...Gunung Ledang actually is very beautiful place maa....I think the height is about 4187 feets from sea level....about 1.2 km something...we took about 10 hours to reach the peak of Gunung Ledang....Exhausted beb...But, thankful to Allah, we all safe reached at the peak....

When i reach at the peak, i really thankful to Allah SWT because i was given this oppurtunity to see the creations of Allah SWT....So,after this i detemine to be a good person and i must work as well as possible in all of my jobs...Insya-Allah

How important of Ukhwah in harakah Islamiyyah

Hmm, one of the problems that always play in Harakah Islamiyyah is Ukhwah within members of the harakah islamiyyah….I don’t know it really…but I always hear it,always….and I also don’t know how to solve it…..i don’t know how to manage it….
I know that ukhwah play a very important role when for all members of the harakah islamiyyah because ukhwah will be a strength in the work…..without powerful ukhwah within members, no work will be done and we will always about problems,problems and problems…..

Hmmm, basically, it is very sweet to do a job or work in the harakah islamiyyah….because all of we do is to contribute to islam…..and we are really confident that if we help islam, Allah will help us……If members of the harakah islamiyyah do a job will good ukhwah on each other, I believe they will feel how sweet work on harakah islamiyyah….although u have many problems, a lot of time to spend in harakah islamiyyah…it will easier for U…..

There are too many crimes in this country…..who should be blamed???

One by one and case by cases of crimes happen daily. When we read newsapaper, everyday talks the same topic but in different way of stories…
Hmm,the question is why the crimes activities straightly increase until it almost reach the climax????? This shows the world now is not safe for human anymore….
I really interested to find why this situation happen??What factors that causes these actions?? What should everybody do before It will too late later???? Many questions make some image in my mind…Today, I read the Star newspaper and I found one case that is really bad to read…two members of one family had died after the robbers want to take their luxury cars outside of their house…
Then in metro, I read about one bad case which is involved the teenagers..The report said that the two sisters had been the sex-slavers for their own blood-brother for a few years…Then the brother started to run away from his home because all his actions before had been discovered…
In solution, I think all the people should play a role to manage this problems…just imagine if this problems or this phenomenon is happening in our family…People, we should assume our friends as our own relatives or our own family….if not, this situation will continuously occur…
So, wont to blame anybody, but I just want all people mainly for those who have responsibilities to manage this problem should plan a serious strategy to manage this problems successfully.

Why are Muslims so powerless?

There are an estimated 1,476,233,470 Muslims on the face of the planet: one billion in Asia, 400 million in Africa, 44 million in Europe and six million in the Americas Every fifth human being is a Muslim; for every single Hindu there are two Muslims, for every Buddhist there are two Muslims and for every Jew there are one hundred Muslims. Ever wondered why Muslims are so powerless?

Here is why: There are 57 member-countries of the Organisation of Islamic Conference (OIC), and all of them put together have around 500 universities; one university for every three million Muslims. The United States has 5,758 universities and India has 8,407. In 2004, Shanghai Jiao Tong University compiled an ‘Academic Ranking of World Universities’ , and intriguingly, not one university from Muslim-majority states was in the top-500.

As per data collected by the UNDP, literacy in the Christian world stands at nearly 90 per cent and 15 Christian-majority states have a literacy rate of 100 per cent. A Muslim-majority state, as a sharp contrast, has an average literacy rate of around 40 per cent and there is no Muslim-majority state with a literacy rate of 100 per cent. Some 98 per cent of the ‘literates’ in the Christian world had completed primary school, while less than 50 per cent of the ‘literates’ in the Muslim world did the same. Around 40 per cent of the ‘literates’ in the Christian world attended university while no more than two per cent of the ‘literates’ in the Muslim world did the same.

Muslim-majority countries have 230 scientists per one million Muslims. The US has 4,000 scientists per million and Japan has 5,000 per million. In the entire Arab world, the total number of full-time researchers is 35,000 and there are only 50 technicians per one million Arabs (in the Christian world there are up to 1,000 technicians per one million). Furthermore, the Muslim world spends 0.2 per cent of its GDP on research and development, while the Christian world spends around five per cent of its GDP.

Conclusion: The Muslim world lacks the capacity to produce knowledge.

Daily newspapers per 1,000 people and number of book titles per million are two indicators of whether knowledge is being diffused in a society. In Pakistan , there are 23 daily newspapers per 1,000 Pakistanis while the same ratio in Singapore is 360. In the UK , the number of book titles per million stands at 2,000 while the same in Egypt is 20.

Conclusion: The Muslim world is failing to diffuse knowledge.

Exports of high technology products as a percentage of total exports are an important indicator of knowledge application. Pakistan ’s export of high technology products as a percentage of total exports stands at one per cent. The same for Saudi Arabia is 0.3 per cent; Kuwait , Morocco , and Algeria are all at 0.3 per cent while Singapore is at 58 per cent.

Conclusion: The Muslim world is failing to apply knowledge.

Why are Muslims powerless? Because we aren’t producing knowledge.

Interestingly, the combined annual GDP of 57 OIC-countries is under $2 trillion. America , just by herself, produces goods and services worth $12 trillion; China $8 trillion, Japan $3.8 trillion and Germany $2.4 trillion (purchasing power parity basis).

Oil rich Saudi Arabia , UAE, Kuwait and Qatar collectively produce goods and services (mostly oil) worth $500 billion; Spain alone produces goods and services worth over $1 trillion, Catholic Poland $489 billion and Buddhist Thailand $545 billion. (Muslim GDP as a percentage of world GDP is fast declining).

So, why are Muslims so powerless? Answer: Lack of education.

All we do is shout to Allah the whole day and blame everyone else for our multiple failures..

Taubat Before It's Too Late!!!

Bismillahirrahmanirrahim...

Taubat (repentance) is a MUST no matter how old you are, and how big or small your sins are. Seek for Allah's forgiveness and Insya-Allah He will forgive you because Allah is All Forgiving, Most Merciful.

So what are the actual meanings of taubat (repentance)?

turning back from disobeying Allah to obeying Him.
is beloved to Allah, as He says: "Verily, Allah loves those who repent and those who purify themselves." [Surah Al-Baqarah: 222]
Is an obligation on every believer. Allah says: "O you who believe! Turn to Allah in sincere repentance!" [Surah At-Tahreem: 8]
Is from the means of attaining success. Allah says: "And O believers, all of you, repent to Allah in order that you may be successful." [Surah An-Noor: 31] Success is when someone gets what he is looking for and is saved from what he is running from.

Through sincere repentance:

Allah forgives sins no matter how big they are and no matter how many they are. Allah says: "Say: O My slaves who have transgressed against themselves (because of sins), do not despair from the mercy of Allah. Verily, Allah forgives all sins. Verily, He is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful." [Surah Az-Zumar: 53]
O my brother who has fallen into sins, do not despair from the mercy of your Lord, for indeed the door to repentance is open until the sun rises from the west. The Prophet s.a.w said: "Verily, Allah extends His hand out at night in order to accept the repentance of the sinner by day. And He extends His hand out during the day in order to accept the repentance of the sinner by night, until (the day) when the sun will rise from its west." [Reported by Muslim]
And how many people have repented to Allah from numerous and enormous sins and Allah has accepted their repentance? Allah says: "And those who do not supplicate to another god along with Allah, nor do they kill a person that Allah has made forbidden (to kill) except with just cause, nor do they commit fornication. And whoever does this shall receive the punishment. The torment will be doubled for him on the Day of Resurrection and he will abide therein in disgrace. Except those who repent and believe and do righteous deeds, for those, Allaah will change their sins into good deeds. And Allah is Most Forgiving, Most Merciful." [Surah Al-Furqaan: 68-70]

Is taubat wajib (compulsory)?

It should be clear that taubat is wajib (compulsory) upon every person because Allah addresses all Muslims in the Verse:

"O Believers! Make taubat unto Allah, a pure taubat."

Since the reality of taubat is to regard sin as a fatal poison and disaster for the life of the Hereafter, and to firmly resolve to shun sin this much of taubat is part of Iman (Faith) it being wajib and necessary are apparent to every Muslims. Hence, Allah says:

"He who makes taubat after his transgression arid reforms, verily Allah turns towards him."

What are the conditions in order to be accepted (repentance) by Allah?

Sincerity to Allah, the Most High: This is by the person doing it only for the sake of Allaah and seeking His reward and salvation from His punishment.
Remorse: for the sin that was committed, such that he is sad he did it and wishes he had never done it.
Ceasing: to commit the sin immediately. If the sin was against Allah, then he should (1) stop doing it if it was an unlawful act, or (2) hasten to do it if it was an obligation that he abandoned doing. And if the sin was against a created being (such as humans), then he should hasten to free himself from it, whether by returning it back to him or seeking his forgiveness and pardon.
Determination: to not go back to doing that sin again in the future.
The repentance should not occur before the time when its acceptance is terminated, either by death or by the sun rising from the west. Allah says: "Repentance is of no effect for those who commit sins constantly until when death faces one of them, he says: Verily I repent now." The Prophet s.a.w said: "Whoever repents before the sun rises from its west, Allah will accept his repentance." [Reported by Muslim]

How is Solat Taubat (taubat prayer) performed?

Solat taubat can be perfomed by 2 raka'at. The niyyah of the prayer is: "I intend to perform sunnat taubah in 2 raka'at for Allah Ta'ala". There is no specific recitation of surahs (verses) in this prayer. The most important is the determination to ask for Allah's forgiveness.

Hmm..when I remembered about some situations in Palestine ,I started to feel weak,embarrassed to myself and many more...I couldn't explain the feelings...

1. The Usrah

One of the most important training and educational process in contemporary Islamic movements as well as other developmental and knowledge building programme such as the tamrin – courses, lectures, seminars, workshops, intellectual discourses, symposiums etc.

The usrah is an informal programme although it is a regular, consistent and continous function.

The usrah ought to be dynamic with interactive participation and should not be a one-way communication affair.

2. Its Meaning
Literally, it means a family.
The usrah is a group of Muslim individuals getting together with faith in Islam, working and helping out one another, working together towards a better understanding and practice of Islam.

3. Its Aim
To uphold Allah’s syariah – commandments by mutual cooperation in enjoining good and God conciousness (taqwa) and to have complete trust in God (tawakkal); refraining from sin and enmity; guarding and cherishing one’s relationship with Allah and also one’s relationship with each other (amongst mankind).

i. nurture and develop closeness to Allah (muraqabah)
ii. committing one’s life to be guided by the Qur’an and the Sunnah
iii. be steadfast, have high morals, be God-conscious
iv. be sincere, willingly seeking Allah’s pleasure, hope, fear , having proper and right intentions
v. brotherhood
vi. teamwork and teambuilding
vii. sacrifice and jihad ( striving in the path of God)
viii. gain knowledge, deeds, enjoining good, developing a progressive society, strengthening the economy

4. Contents
i. Knowledge – Al Qur’an; sciences of the Al Qur’an, tafsir – exegesis , meanings, interpretation, context; Al hadith; sciences of the al hadith; aqidah – pillars of faith, al tawheed, akhlak – morals; tasawuf – spiritual purification; seerah – study of the Prophet’s lifetime; Islamic thought; the Islamic movement; current affairs

ii. Brotherhood (ukhwah) – unity of thought, worship, dhikr – remembrance of God; undertaking outings, journeys, picnics; visits – ziarah; mutual assistance, helping out, welfare; dining together

iii. Spiritual – jama’ah prayers, praying together; Qur’an recitations; night prayers, vigilance – qiamulail; supplementary prayers; authentic supplications – doa’ ma’thurat

iv. Organisational and Social – planning, implementation and management of dakwah (spreading the message of Islam); organisational affairs; social work in the community

5. Its Etiquette
i. sincerity of intention
ii. giving salam – warm greetings
iii. commitment to knowledge
iv. respect for the naqib (usrah facilitator)
v. moderate voice
vi. avoiding arguments and contentious debates
vii. moderate in laughter and humour
viii. guarding adab and discipline
ix. punctuality – always be on time

xi. be attentive ad respectful to the readings of the Qur’an
xii. enjoining one another to uphold truth and justice, to bear patience and forbearance
xiii. informing of one’s absence
xiv. try to be prepared for the usrah, having the necessary books, references, notes, stationery
xv. try to maintain and not to miss the jama’ah prayers, in dhikr and dining together
xvi. starting the session by reciting the al fatihah and ending by reciting the surah al ‘asr and tasbih kaffarah

6. Pillars of the Usrah
i. ta’aruf – introduction and getting to know one another
ii. tafahum – mutual understanding
iii. takaful – equitabilty, mutual cooperation, assistance, care and concern

7. Duty of the Naqib
To lead and facilitate the usrah; able to read the Qur’an and the hadith, have basic knowledge of Islam, an understanding of Islamic thought and the contemporary Islamic movement; have organisational management abilities and good morals.

8. The Goal of the Usrah
To create high awareness and deep understanding of the Islamic worldview (tasawwur),;spiritually purifying one’s heart and inner self; planning and developing the organisation.

The usrah provides direction towards building self confidence in a process of developing a balanced and well composed Muslim in all aspects – spiritually, mentally and physically.

The usrah develops into core units that will continue the mission of Islamic dakwah.

9. Its Importance and Significance
Groups of usrah are units and chains in the network of strengthening the contemporary Islamic movements and Islamic awareness. Its beginnings in the modern age was pioneered by al syahid Imam Hasan al Banna in the 1920’s and 1930’s at a time when the Muslim world was at its worst period in history and suffering untold backwardness. It was Egypt under British colonial rule and the state of the Muslim ummah throughout was weak and its leadership helplessly dire, lost their will and sense of direction, hopelessly demotivated and their practices straying away from their true religion.

The Ikhwan al Muslimoon ( the Islamic movement of that period) managed to break this inferiority complex and rebuilt the ummah’s self confidence, reforming society until Egypt gained independence and the Islamic movement served the ummah well in the early wars against the establishment of Israel.

Even though the Ikhwan were tragically and cruelly persecuted by subsequent Egyptian and Arab regimes, but they remained influential and still played a role in the development of Muslim societies in Egypt and the rest of the world until this day.

Its significant contribution is the development of a model for reconstruction of Islamic thought and pioneering the movement for Islamic reform and renewal until it spread across the globe, the phenomenon sometimes called “the Islamic resurgence”.

Among their contributions are the introduction of the usrah to the ummah and the continuation of the mission and message of dakwah. The mission and message which is none other than the mission and message brought by the Prophets, culminated by the Final Prophethood of Muhammad s.a.w., continued by the companions, the mujahidin, the salihin. The message inviting all of mankind to worship only Allah, truthfully and sincerely.

The model of the usrah is used and became widespread by the Muslim movements in all parts of the world. It is now a standard and is commonly practised in universities, colleges, educational institutions, schools, departments, offices, musallas and other organisations.

The usrah is the part that complements Islamic consciousness and is the spirit that brings alive and rejuvenates formal Islamic education, its related fields and studies and also makes possible organised Islamic work.

Preparation for exam!!

The most important thing any student can do to prepare for exam is to start early. The days of studying for an exam on the bus going to school are over. Even if you got A's this way, it's not going to work very often with college material. College courses require far more effort.

Start preparing for the next test the day after you take the prior one. Daily preparation is crucial. At a minimum, review material once every week between exams.

How much time is needed? The classic question. Some recommend 2-3 hours outside of class for every hour of class time. In some cases homework problems will require this much effort. For a straightforward lecture course try the following:

Every day before class, preview the material for 15-20 minutes.
Attend every lecture. Seems simple but it's the biggest misteak students make.
Take good notes.
Spend another 20-30 minutes after class going over the notes.
Use this time to get any confusing points cleared up in your head; much better now than later. This will make later exam prep. MUCH easier.
Once a week, review the material to get a more complete overview of the information.

The Meaning of Ibadah

Shaikhul-Islaam Ibn Taymiyyah (rahimahullaah) said: "Ibaadah is obedience to Allaah by carrying out what He has commanded on the tongues of His messengers."

He also said: "Ibaadah is a collective term for everything which Allaah loves and is pleased with from among the sayings and inward and outward actions."

Ibn al-Qayyim said: Ibaadah - (is) Gratefulness to Him, Love of Him and Awe of Him

Ibn Katheer said:"Ibaadah in the language is humbleness (dhillah). It is sometimes said 'a levelled and smoothed road (mu'abbad) and an uneven road (ghair mu'abbad)' meaning (one has been) humbled, lowered, debased. Its usage in the Revelation: an expression of what brings together the perfection of Love, Fear and Hope (in Allaah's worship)."

Al-Qurtubee said: "The basis of Ibaadah: humbling oneself (tadhallull) and submission (khudoo') and the duties of the Sharee'ah are called 'Ibaadaat' (pl. of Ibaadah i.e. acts of worship) because the (worshippers) stick to them and perform them with submissiveness and out of humility to Allaah the Exalted."

From these statements you will realise that Ibaadah has a very wide meaning and is comprised of many matters. It will also become clear to you that many people have an incorrect and fragmented understanding of Ibaadah. Most commonly they limit the meaning of Ibaadah to prostrating, bowing, Fasting, Hajj and other acts of worship. However, this is only one aspect from the many aspects of Ibaadah.

In essence, the word Ibaadah in the language and in the Revelation has three meanings:

[1] Humbleness, Lowliness (Dhillah) and Submissiveness (Khudoo')
[2] Obedience (Taa'ah) and Compliance (Inqiyaad)
[3] Devotion, Sacrifice (Tanassuk) and Worship (Ta'alluh)

Hmmmm...I always saw people in couple in many places when the breaking time of fasting almost reached...When we talked to them, they said they want to break their fasting together....I said,why u don't do it with your other friends???He said,breaking with her is more good....Then, I said,when you want to say about enjoy...don't fasting laaa....You are fasting because of Allah SWT....Fasting is not only stops eating and drinking,but stops doing any bad things...

Then,he refused to answer...

Ikhwanul muslimin,we should take this oppurtunity to practice our islam very well...we may practice the true way of islam....I know, it is really hard to stop our habits....but at least we should do some changes in ourselves....Every following day is better than before....

Attarbiyyah Fi Ramadhan.....

Ramadhan is very precious month....During this month, the gates of heaven is opening, the gates of hell is closing, Syaitan are keeping and detaining.....Prayers will be accepted..In Ramadhan,muslims will be fasting for a month.Then,they will celebrate Hari Raya.Ramadhan actually is a field for tarbiyyah..We can know how we are actually...how our behaviours,our actions and many more..

In Ramadhan, we have only one enemy,it is our nafs....If we still practice bad behaviour or bad actions in Ramdhan...it means that we are really bad and need some improvements and changes.....If we are doing the hasanah in Ramadhan,it means that we are really nice person...but we must remember, although we are always doing good things, the goods things must not always stay with us....Sometimes,someone will do the good things for initial of his life but finally he do the wrong thing at the end of his life or vice versa...anything can happen actually...So, we should always pray to Allah so that we are always in good action and behaviour until we die...

We should prevent or bad actions in this month...If we are smoking...try to decrease our smoking activity...if we are always pray at our room,please make a targer to pray in surau or masjid all the times....If we are late, we try to pray at surau or masjid...Then, we should live in Jamaah...if we can, try to do iftar or sahur ma'al jamaah....Insya-Allah you all will feel very happy...

Jihad means we do something as best as we can....Jihad is really important mainly for muslims...we must make an effort to make sure that islam is staying at its place....All human should obey Allah SWT instructions..Allah is creator...Allah is Rahman wa rahim...Allah created us in the best creations....So,do the best thing For Allah...

We love Allah,Rasulullah and Ikhwanul muslimin.....

I think arabic language is really important to muslims.....Muslims would not understand what are the meanings of Al-quran easily if they don't learn arabic language....
Second, when we speak arabic...actually we are highering the islamic syiar......
Third, Arabic language is the knowledege language.....locate the history, most of the knowledge came from islamic civilization.....Actually,there are a lot of education manuscripts that still not be translated to the modern language....They are still gathering in the old library overseas.....no one wants to translate them....They had written in classic arabic.....
I want to challenge all the PMIUPM members.....at LEAST before you all graduate....you all can speak Arabic fluently......can????

Nowdays...there are a not many muslims do dakwah to non-muslim...I absolutely don't know why this situation happen...Are we forgot our responsibilities????? Are forgot to do the Sunnah of Rasulullah SAW???? Are we afraid to tell the truth....????

1. When we became independent in 1957 nobody gave us much of a chance to make any progress beyond what had been achieved under the British.2. I myself at that time thought that the only difference independence would make would be Malaysians would take over the administration of the country from the British. Nothing much more than that. 3. The other day I was given a copy of a news sheet called "Opinion" of November 1968, which I remember was edited and produced by Sulaiman Alias, one of the young political activist in UMNO.
4. It was quite a liberal paper and contained articles by such well-known personalities as Dr Lim Chong Eu (Gerakan), Dr R Kumar (Labour Party), Lim Kit Siang (DAP), Syed Hussain Ali (Parti Rakyat), Tengku Zaid (PMIP), Goh Cheng Teik, Ismail Ghani and several others. 5. I was also a contributor writing "In Defense of Feudalism". I was a Member of Parliament then. 6. The article that most interested me was one by Dr Lim Chong Yah, an economist, entitled "The Future of Malaysian Economy". 7. In it he gave a picture of the Malaysian Economy in 1967, 10 years after Merdeka. 8. The population was a mere 10 million and we were reproducing at 3.7% per annum. Our death rate had decreased from 12% to 7% which resulted in a natural increase of 3% p.a., a high rate, he noted. 9. Assuming decreasing death rate and also decreasing birth rate, the 3% population growth would likely continue over the next 10 years bringing the population to 13 million in 1977. 10. Dr Lim thought that national income should increase at 3% p.a. over the 1967 per capital (sic) income of USD940 p.a. But at 3% rate of growth the gap between us and the rich countries would widen. 11. Still the other developing countries would be behind us. However at 3% growth we would not be able to create jobs at 100,000 p.a. The rate of growth of national income should be 5%. 12. Investment growth (domestic) would not be able to do this. 13. If foreign investment makes up 4% of growth then it may be possible to achieve the necessary rate of investment for creating 100,000 jobs per annum. 14. It was a time when the rubber estates and tin mines were still owned by foreigners. Bringing in foreign capital sounded like increasing overdependence on foreign enterprise. We did not quite relish the idea of more foreign involvement in our newly independent country. 15. But without capital inflow unemployment would be 200,000 by 1977. Together with 160,000 unemployed in 1967, the rate would go up to 360,000, a horrendous figure. 16. The 360,000 did not include a large number of under-employed workers. 17. In the second five-year plan the public section was to spend 4,500 million Ringgit of which 1,900 million Ringgit was to come from foreign sources (borrowing). 18. Malaysia would have to depend on foreign capital inflow. Dr Lim remarked that political independence had not freed us from dependence on foreign capital. Still, he said, it was consistent with political independence. He named several developed countries which depended on foreign capital inflows. 19. He then turned to the rubber industry which was undergoing great difficulties because of the increasing usage of synthetics. He concluded that the difficulties of the rubber industry was also the difficulty of the nation in view of the strategic and preeminent role the industry occupied in the Malaysian economy. 20. The United States was making things more difficult through the release of their rubber stockpile. I remember being invited by Mr Bell, the American Ambassador to tea and I raised this matter. I was shocked when the Ambassador said that it was important for the US economy to keep rubber prices low. I told him that rubber prices were more critical to a small country like Malaysia than to a huge diversified economic power like America. But he did not care what happened to Malaysia. Yet at that time we looked up to America as a friend and liberator. 21. Rubber prices went down from 108.00 cents per pound to 68.14 cents. At the time Dr Lim wrote his article it was 50 cent per pound. The kampong people suffered grievously. 22. The other major source of income for Malaysia was tin. Already the production was decreasing. 23. We may be surprised but after tin came iron ore. We produced 7.3 million tons in 1963 but the production was going down. We produce no iron ore for export today. 24. Dr Lim predicted that income from rubber, tin and iron ore would decrease by 1977. 25. But the picture was bright for palm oil. In 1957 we exported 58.5 thousand tons of palm oil. By 1966 we exported 178.0 thousand tons. 26. Imagine how small we were then. Today if I am not mistaken we export more than 12 million tons at RM 3,000 plus per ton = 36,000,000,000 i.e. 36 billion Ringgit per year - well over the total public development estimate of 4,000 million Ringgit for the second five year plan (of course the Ringgit bought more than it does now).27. Other than these we expected to earn something from timber, canned pineapple and pepper. 28. Dr Lim believed that growth would be from the domestic sector, with public sector contributing much towards it. 29. From Dr Lim's paper, presented at a forum organised by the National Union of Malayan Students at the University of Malaya, it did not seem likely that Malaysia would grow to what it is today. Yet Dr Lim was optimistic. He expected political stability to contribute towards Malaysia's development. 30. I write this in order to remind ourselves as to what we were like before. In 1967 no one thought of a Malaysia like what it is today. We did not think of industrialisation. We saw ourselves as a producer of raw materials. 31. Foreign Direct Investment was an unknown term when Dr Lim Chong Eu invited foreign industrialists in the early 70s to invest in the electronic industry on liberal terms. Prior to that we had insisted that all foreign industries must accept Malaysian Equity Participation (before NEP). 32. Only National or Matsushita came. But later we gave priority to job creation to benefit not those with money to invest but the unemployed workers. That was the best decision the Malaysian Government ever made. 33. Today Malaysia is more prosperous than the other countries which attained independence together with us. There is not a single race, not a single person, whatever may be his or her station in life who can honestly say that he or she has gained nothing from the independent Governments of Malaysia. 34. We are all the beneficiaries of the policies of those early people who lead this country. The systems and policies they initiated were excellent. If they seem not to work today it is not because they were bad but it is because we do not have their caliber. We have become very selfish and too materialistic. This country has given us much. Is it still the country we love? I wonder!

Basically it is not fair for HEP to kick out students from their colleges because they are joining Islamic society.Firstly,we as a student don't straightly follow the decision from HEP.The good thing we should support and the bad thing we should object it as well as we can.

Students,we should understand about the situation in our campus.we should do our own research to find the truth.Basically,a lot of conflicts/liers appeared everywhere including tv,newspaper,radio and many more..

Locate at our campus,Islamic society basically had registered with HEP and this society like other societies in campus.So,why HEP kicked out students because he/she is joining this club...It is fair???It is good???Straightly unfair!!!!

Then we just look our friends kicked out from their colleges and we don't do anything...aren't we afraid to stand the truth...???

Money more wastes and losses....

The Government of Dato Seri Abdullah Badawi has lost billions of Ringgit by cancelling the bridge project to replace the causeway, postponing the double-tracking and electrification of the North-South railway and the sale of M.V. Agusta by Proton.

The Government had also wasted money - RM2 billion in Terengganu.

Thinking that he had the right to use Wang Ehsan, the royalty from Petronas to the State of Terengganu totalling more than five billion Ringgit over several years Dato Seri Abdullah together with Dato Seri Idris Jusoh, the former Menteri Besar of Terengganu went on a spending spree.

Without any proper study and planning, without bothering about the rules and regulations about how Government money should be allocated and used, Dato Seri Abdullah and Dato Seri Idris and their cronies spent huge sums of the "Wang Ehsan" on a theme park (Crystal Mosque), Monsoon Cup, development of Setiu etc etc. More than two billion Ringgit were poured into Terengganu.

Then in 2008, Barisan Nasional won and Abdullah happily decided to spend more of the Wang Ehsan on fancy projects.

Unfortunately the Sultan of Terengganu refused to have Idris Jusoh as Menteri Besar. It was a slap in the face fo Abdullah when he was forced to accept the Sultan's nominee as Menteri Besar.

This new Menteri Besar insisted that the royalty due to Terengganu should be paid to the State and the State should manage the fund.

This was as it should be. But the Menteri Besar insisted that what was spent before this in building the theme park, organising the Monsoon Cup etc worth about RM 2 billion was not from the royalty due to Terengganu. It was from Federal fund.

He demanded that the full amount of royalty over the years should be paid to Terengganu.

So RM2 billion of Federal funds have been expended on Terengganu, the richest State in Malaysia.

Failing this Terengganu has a court case initiated by the PAS Government which the BN State Government has not withdrawn.

The Federal Government will now have to find some RM5 billion to give to Terengganu. Where is this money going to come from? Obviously from the Federal Consolidated Fund.

Basically the Federal Government will lose RM5 billion because it had assumed that a tame Terengganu Menteri Besar would collaborate in some of the most wasteful projects for the State and the country.

I am told that a Disneyland designer was engaged to design the "Crystal Mosque" and theme park. Must cost a lot.

Some contractors made tons of money getting projects without proper processes.

Surau Should Live.....

Surau or Masjid is really important in muslim religion.This place is really useful for muslims to implement their ibadah(religion ritual).But,we as muslims shouldn't just assume the masjid or surau as the place of praying..We should change our perception and think how to create our surau and masjid as a multiple functions place.We may create this place to be a place of discussion about society,a place of monitoring society,a place of judgement and many more....

But,now....

Those idea becoming so far...because there are not many people are really like to go to the surau or masjid..

When this situation happened,it is something difficult to find imam in one of prayer time for example bacause there are not many people attend....

we must remember,when Rasullah pbuh reached in Madinah,one of the most earliest thing that Rasulullah pbuh was build the masjid...

So friends,we should think and think....how to attract people to come to surau or masjid and make them luv islam very much....

Malam Tunas Budaya Is A Part Of HeDoNisme...

UPM-Saturday(12/07/2008),BHEP UPM organised a program called Malam Tunas Budaya.This program started at 8.30pm.Many students came to the Dewan Besar to watch some activities there.Basically,this program is prepared for new students but there were a lot of seniors came to this program.

This program is planned to introduce some tradition cultures in malaysia to the new students.All seventeen colleges in UPM participated to present their own show.Colleges were combined to each other to present their own show.

But,it was really sad when we are looking at the situation there.In the hall,male and female students were not sit in separate place but they sit in random.So,in the crowd,maybe some of the students take this opportunity to do unethical behaviour.

In addition,the shows actually did not figure professional.The students just wear any clothes without thinking about islamic law.Then,students shouted,cheered like stayed in concert event.

Actually,the university department should avoid students from involved in this hedonisme program because there are a lot of implications will be happened to students.

So,the University department should re-check whether this program is available or not.

Rajab is one of the four months declared sacred by Allah (SWT) in the Glorious Qur'an.
Special prayers and Aamal that can be prayed and carried out on any day or daily for this seventh month of Islamic lunar calendar reached us on the authority of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (saw), Imam Ali (as), Imam Zainul Abideen (as), Imam Jafar Sadiq (as) and Imam Sahib Zaman (as), are given below:
1. The month of Rajab, in its superabundant favors and benefits, reverence and sanctity, is next to none. It is linked to Almighty Allah (SWT) as Sha'ban to the Holy Prophet Muhammad (saw) and Ramadan to his Ummah (Muslim Community).
2. Who so observes fast (even one day) during the month of Rajab gets Allah's pleasure.
3. Ask forgiveness and turn repentant to Allah (SWT) as much as you can because mercy drops from the heaven like a gentle rain in the month of Rajab (also known as "As'abb" - pouring out, full of love and kindness).
4. Allah (SWT) shall forgive and have mercy on him who recites:
Astaghfirulaahallad'ee Laa Ilaaha Ilaa Huwa Wah'dahoo La Shareeka Lahoo Wa Atoobu Ilayh (I ask forgiveness of Allah, who is "There is no God save He, and no other; has no partner"; and I turn repentant to Him)
at least 100 times (400 times will accrue more rewards), and recites "Laa Ilaaha Illallaah" 1000 times, during the month of Rajab, and gives alms in the name of Allah at the completion.
5. Recite Surah Al-Ikhlas at least 100 times (1000 or 10000 times will accrue more rewards) in the month of Rajab.
6. Keep fast on any day in the month of Rajab.
Fazilat of Fasting in the Month of Rajab, seventh month of the Islamic lunar calendar:
Rajab marks the beginning of the spiritual season of every believer ending with the end of the fasting month of Ramadan with the Eid Al-Fitr. These three months (Rajab, Sha'ban and Ramadan) are unmatched in their importance. Praise be to the Almighty and thanks to Him for granting us yet another opportunity to cleanse ourselves of our sins and oversights.
The Holy Prophet Muhammad (saw) has said: "Rajab is a great month of Allah (SWT), unmatched by any other month in the respect and significance (accorded to it); war with the infidels during this month is prohibited; Verily, Rajab is Allah's month, Sha'ban my month and Ramadan the month of my Ummah; whosoever fasts a day in the month of Rajab will be granted the great reward of Ridwan (an angel in heaven); the wrath of Allah (SWT) shall be distanced and a door of the Hell shall be closed."
Fasting is one of the most recommended acts during this spiritual season. It becomes Wajib (obligatory) during the month of Ramadan, but is highly recommended during the months of Rajab and Sha'ban. As will be noted from the Hadith above and others to follow, fasting, be it for only one day during these months, is rewarded with untold bounties.
Hazrat Salman Al-Farsi narrates that the Final messenger of Allah, the Holy Prophet Muhammad (saw) said that there is a day in the month of Rajab on which if a person fasts and does Qiyaamul Lail (night vigil) on that night, he will receive rewards like a person who fasts for 100 years and does Qiyaamul Lail for nights of 100 years. This night is the night of the 27th (Rajab) and the day of the 27th (Rajab). This is the day on which the Holy Prophet Muhammad (saw) was appointed to Messenger hood.
Hazrat Salman Al-Farsi narrates that the Beloved of Allah, the Holy Prophet Muhammad (saw) said "O Salman, there is no Mumin (True Believer) and Muminah (Truly Believing Female) who performs 30 Raka'ah in the month of Rajab and in each Raka'ah recites Surah Al-Fatihah once, Surah Al-Ikhlas 3 times, and Surah Al-Kafiroon 3 times that Allah (SWT) does forgive them their sins and bestows rewards upon them as upon a person who has fasted a whole month. He becomes among those who will be steadfast in their Salaat in the year which is to come. For him the deeds of the day are equal to that of the martyr. He will be raised with the Martyrs of the Holy Battle of Badr. For him is written for the fast of each day, one year's worship. His station is raised 1000 times higher.
If he fasts the entire month of Rajab and he performs this (above) Salaat, Allah (SWT) will give him salvation from the Hell Fire, make Wajib (obligatory) for him, His Paradise and bestow His Nearness upon him. Hazrat Jibril (Gabriel) informed me "O Muhammad this is the sign between you and the Mushrikeen (Polytheists) and the Munafiqun (Hypocrites) because the Munafiq does not perform this Salaat."
Hazrat Salman Al-Farsi says, I beseeched "O messenger of Allah tell me when and how shall I perform this Salaat (Prayer)" The Holy Prophet Muhammad (saw) said "O Salman, perform 10 Raka'ah on the first of it (month of Rajab) and in each Raka'ah recite Surah Al-Fatihah once, Surah Al-Ikhlas 3 times, and Surah Al-Kafiroon 3 times and after you do your Salaam (at the end of the Salaat) raise your hands and say:
"There is no God but Allah, The One Who has no partners. To Him belong His entire Kingdom and all the praise, Who created life and death and Who is Alive without Death. From His hands (only) good is done and Who has Power over everything. Dearest Allah, no one can stop what You bestow and no one can give what You prevent. There is no one who can profit us except You the August among all." Then spread your hands over your face.
In the middle of the month perform 10 Raka'ah and in each Raka'ah recite Surah Al-Fatihah once, Surah Al-Ikhlas 3 times, and Surah Al-Kafiroon 3 times and after you do your salaam (at the end of the Salaat) raise your hands towards the heavens and say:
"There is no God but Allah, the One who has no partners. To Him belong His entire Kingdom and all the praise. Who created life and death and Who is Alive without Death. From His Hands (only) good is done and Who has Power over everything. The only God, Unique, Who has no needs. He has no wife and no children." Then spread your hands over your face.
You perform this Salaat at the end of the month, 10 Raka'ah. In every Raka'ah recite Surah Al-Fatihah once, Surah Al-Ikhlas 3 times, and Surah Al-Kafiroon 3 times. After you do your salaam, raise your hand towards the heaven and say:
"There is no God but Allah, The One Who has no partners. To Him belong His entire Kingdom and all the praise. Who created life and death and Who is Alive without Death. From His Hands (only) good is done and Who has Power over everything. And the blessing of Allah be upon the Master Muhammad and upon his pure progeny and there is no power greater than that of Allah Who is the Greatest in Might".
Then ask for your needs (to be fulfilled). Your Supplication will be accepted and Allah (SWT) will create 70 trenches between you and the Hell fire, the distance between each trench will be like it is between Heaven and Earth and written for you will be freedom from Fire of Hell, and from crossing the Bridge of Siraat." When the Beloved of Allah, The Holy Prophet Muhammad (saw) had finished, I fell down in prostration, weeping out of gratitude towards Allah (SWT) for the abundance of the rewards.
We present this beautiful hadith from Imam Musa Kadhim (as) on the greatness of Rajab and just fasting one day from this blessed month.
It has been narrated from the Holy Prophet Muhammad (saw) in a very long hadith that there is no month as great or noble in the sight of Allah (SWT) as the month of Rajab and even the Arabs of the time of Ignorance held this month in great esteem, and with the coming of the religion of al-Islam at the hands of the final Messenger of Allah, nothing was added to it except an increase in its greatness. The Holy Prophet Muhammad (saw) went on to say that the month of Rajab is the month of Allah; Sha'ban was his month and the month of Ramadan was the month of his Ummah (Muslim Community).
In this length tradition which can be found in Thawaab al-Aamal wa Iqaab al-Aamal (new print), Page 115 to 124, the Holy Prophet Muhammad (saw) went on to mention the specialties and favors that would be showered upon that person who fasted during this month and for every day he fasted, a different favor and bounty would be graced upon him.
Our Holy Prophet Muhammad (may Allah shower him and his righteous family with never-ending blessings), if a person were to fast one day in this month for the belief and hope of reward from Allah (SWT), then he would have earned the pleasure of Allah (SWT) and the fast of that one day would put out the anger of Allah (SWT) and would cause the doors of the hellfire to be closed for him. If the entire land were to be filled with gold and that gold was to be spent in the way of Allah (SWT), then even this act would not add up to the bounties of fasting just one day. There is not a single thing in the world that would perfect that person's reward except for good (from Allah (SWT)) as long as he was sincere to Allah (SWT) (in has fasting). When the evening time comes, ten of that person's prayers would be granted, and if he were to supplicate for anything of the worldly life, Allah (SWT) would give it to him, and if it were not given to him, then Allah (SWT) would preserve that which is greater (than what he supplicated for) and that which the friends, lovers and chosen ones of Allah have prayed to him for.
We pray to Allah (SWT) during this blessed month that we are able to supplicate to Him and that our supplications, especially that of the speedy return of our Imam and Master al-Mahdi al-Muntazar (May our souls be sacrificed for the dirt under his feet), are accepted. May Allah (SWT) give us all the strength and will-power to fast this entire month as a prelude to the month of Sha'ban - a month of blessings and mercy including the birth anniversary of the Savior of Humanity on the 15th of the Month, culminating with the Blessed month of Ramadan - the month of peace and tranquility.
Useful points for this month of Rajab - An Important Spiritual Month:
1) Fasting: It is highly recommended to fast in this month of Rajab even for one day at least. A hadith says: Whosoever fasts a day in Rajab, the fire of hell will be away from him a distance of one year's journey, and whosoever fasts 3 days in Rajab, will be entitled for Paradise. Imam Ali (as) used to fast the whole month of Rajab.
2) Seeking Forgiveness (Al-Istighfaar, Istighfar): The Holy Prophet Muhammad (saw) used to say: Rajab is a month of seeking forgiveness, so seek forgiveness from Allah (SWT); He is verily the Forgiver, the Merciful. It is highly recommended to repeat 'Astaghfirullaah wa as-aluhut tawbah'
3) Sadaqa and Charity: There is a big reward for Sadaqa and charity in the month of Rajab. Those who cannot fast may give Sadaqa to the poor every day, or recite 'Subhana Ilalahil Jaleele Subhana Man la Yanbaghil Tasbeeho Illa Lahoo; Subhanal A'azzinil Akrame; Subhana Man Labisal Izza wa Howa Lahoo Ahlun.'
4) Repeating 'Laa ilaaha illa-Allah' 1000 times.
5) Repeating 'Astaghfirullaaha zul jalale wal Ikraam min jamee al zonoobe wal aathaam' 1000 times.
6) Repeating Sura Al Tawheed 'Qul-ho-wallaho Ahad' or Surah Al-Ikhlas 1000 times to get the reward of 1000 Angels and blessings on the reciter, his / her children, family and neighbours.
7) It is recommended to recite Sura Al Tawheed 'Qul-ho-wallaho Ahad' or Surah Al-Ikhlas 100 times every Friday in the month of Rajab.
Praise be to the Almighty Allah (SWT) and thanks to Him for granting us yet another opportunity to cleanse ourselves of our sins and oversights. (Rajab Aamal and Dua)

Rejab month almost coming up...today is 27 Jamadil Akhir...So we have 3 days left to reach rejab month...It also means that we almost reach Ramadhan Al-Mubarak....Let we pray to our God so that our lifetime will be longer to reach Ramadhan Al-Mubarak...

Basically,muslims will start to Puasa Sunat starting the Rejab month..they try to practice themselves so that the can face Ramadhan better...

UPM,Yesterday,there was really shocked when we as UPM students were not allow to enter in UPM area to visit new students intake..

One of the students really dissapointed when he was block by the guards when he wanted to see his relative...If we think,it is wrong the senior student of UPM wants to see his relatives at registration centre???It should be the happy day...

In addition,PMIUPM members also was blocked by HEP and guards to implement their good works...They just gave some drinking water to parents and children....they also just gave some ballons to children...It is wrong???

Students should alert with situation like this...we cannot just follow the order from HEP....we should think whether the instruction is right or wrong....we as students should stand up and say to them the justice....

Wonderful place of Sg Kap....

I went to Sg Kap a few days ago.Amazing...peaceful...Sg Kap full with the greenery flora...most of them are rubber trees....

Basically most of the people there work as a rubber tapper.They get their income when they sell the rubber product with RM 4.70 for 1 part.

When I asked to them,what is the most problem happen there??they just said that the rubber-theft mostly happen there...

Most of the people live in middle class....the poverty people there actually not many...

The interesing of this place is the situation of the Malay houses and Siamese houses there...malay population basially live in left part and then siamese houses are situated at the right sight when you walk along Sg Kap Village to Nami Village....

Congrats....no problem happen btween malay population and siamese...

I went to the Tanjung Luar and Tanjung Siam for a programme.Almost 90% of Tanjung Siam consist of Siamese while almost 90% of Tanjung Luar consist of Malay People.

Basically,people there live in middle level.Majority of them work as a rubber tappers.Some of the people there really angry because of the oil price increased.

Siamese and Malay basically live in harmony condition.They understand to each other and they have no problem to communicate....

So,good luck to them....always keep this powerful relationship....

Campus election is getting close...campus election is expected to begin in September/Ramadhan....The previous representative of students will be turn down and the new representatives will be coming up...

Actually why we should have campus election??? may we select our representatives like we select our monitor in secondry school?? why it is not relevant???

If we look in detail,campus election is really close to the general election in our country...Actually the campus election is a trial process to train students in university about politics situation...do U agree?? when these students graduated,they will involve in politics in real situation...they wil be voters for country leaders....At least,these students should have initial experienced in campus...

Some students basically really phobia in the word politic...they really afraid until they assume that the politic is the bad thing...basically politic is the way of selecting leaders....why we afraid???

Some of us said that we should focusin study first...I agree that...but we must rememeber that our tasks are not totally in studying...we should involve in many things if we want to move forward than others..

Hmm...today,many people are interested in watching football games.Although they are not be able to play football,but they enjoy to watch the football games in Stadium or in TV..

Why they are really like to watch this?? I also do not know...maybe they impressed the skills that showed by the players???maybe they impressed the way of players shooted goals...or something else..???

Now,some of us are having "football fever" until they do not interested in work,study and so on..I am not blaming the football game...I really wonder why those people are like this,sacrifice their sleeping time just to watch football game...Try ask them...do you want to sacrifice your sleeping time to pray,reciting Al-Quran at night??maybe some of them say yes and some of the refuse to answer....

In addition,I also wonder,how these people can be able to wake up at 2 or 3 am...this time basically is the climax time for sleeping...
Hmm..Great!..how great the attraction of football game...

Hmm...some of them too over in cheering the football game until they disturbed other people..They shouted"goal""goal" maybe around 1 mile we can hear that....hehe...
Actually...we can watch football games..but please watch it in good method...

The price of crude oil has increased by 400 percent in the last three years. It follows that the price of products must increase, sooner or later. In other countries petrol prices had already increased. In the United Kingdom one litre of petrol sells for more than one pound sterling or RM7. In the United States it is about RM5.

That the price in neighbouring countries has gone up is shown by the rush to fill up by Thai and to a lesser extent Singapore vehicles.

The Government has now announced an increase in petrol price by 78 sen to RM2.70 per litre, an increase of more than 40 per cent.

I may be mistaken but there seems to be less vehicles on the road today. But obviously that is not all that will happen. All other consumer goods, services and luxury goods would increase in price.

The cost of living must go up. Put another way there will be inflation and the standard of living will go down.

Obviously our increase in petrol price is far less than in the United Kingdom or the United States. But our per capita income is about one-third of theirs. In purchasing power terms our increase is more than in the UK or the US.

The increase hurts but the pain is greater not just because of the increase percentage-wise is higher than in developed countries but because of the manner the increase is made.

A few days ago the Government decided to ban sale of petrol to foreign cars. It flipped. Now foreign cars can buy again. Flopped.

Knowing that in a few days it was going to raise the price and foreigners would be allowed to buy, why cannot the Government just wait instead of banning and unbanning.

But be that as it may what could the Government have done to lessen the burden on the people that results from the increase in petrol price.

In the first place the Government should not have floated the Ringgit. A floating rate creates uncertainties and we cannot gain anything from the strengthened Ringgit. Certainly the people have not exprienced any increase in their purchasing power because of the appreciation in the exchange rate between the US Dollar and the Ringgit.

Actually the Ringgit has increased by about 80 sen (from RM3.80 to RM3.08 to 1 US Dollar) per US Dollar, i.e. by more than 20 per cent. Had the Government retained the fixed rate system and increased the value of the Ringgit, say 10 per cent at a time, the cost of imports, in Ringgit terms can be monitored and reduced by 10 per cent. At 20 per cent appreciation the cost of imports should decrease by 20 per cent. But we know the prices of imported goods or services have not decreased at all. This means we are paying 20 per cent higher for our imports including the raw material and components for our industries.

Since oil prices are fixed in US Dollar, the increase in US Dollar prices of oil should also be mitigated by 20 per cent in Malaysian Ringgit.

But the Government wants to please the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank and decided to float the Ringgit. As a result the strengthening of the Ringgit merely increased our cost of exports without giving our people the benefit of lower cost of imports.
Roughly Malaysia produces 650,000 barrels of crude per day. We consume 400,000 barrels leaving 250,000 barrels to be exported.

Three years ago the selling price of crude was about USD30 per barrel. Today it is USD130 – an increase of USD100. There is hardly any increase in the production cost so that the extra USD100 can be considered as pure profit.

Our 250,000 barrels of export should earn us 250,000 x 100 x 365 x 3 = RM27,375,000,000 (twenty seven billion Ringgit).

But Petronas made a profit of well over RM70 billion, all of which belong to the Government.

By all accounts the Government is flushed with money.

But besides petrol the prices of palm oil, rubber and tin have also increased by about 400 per cent. Plantation companies and banks now earn as much as RM3 billion in profits each. Taxes paid by them must have also increased greatly.

The sleep-wake cycle of the pineal gland (endocrine gland) becomes disrupted by the use of artificial light which has its physical and psychological effects on our body. Once day light ends, the pineal gland goes into increased production of melatonin. By extending light artificially we impede its production.

We as male students agree that the white colour of the school uniform is not suitable for female student....Firstly,not all female students wearing long scarf..so,the short scarf cannot help them to protect their body properly...for the free-hair female students,they are more amazing...they make us less focus in class...we don't know why???

So,back to the colour...secondly,when the female students wearing different colour of bra such as black or pink opposite to the white colour of uniform,the thing can be look quite clearly..Alamak!!...secondly we cannot focus in our assignment...

Thirdly,when the rain come 4 example..when the female students walk in the rain...the uniform will be wet...then,the white colour uniform will be change to transparent...at that time,female students cannot protect their body anymore...

Truly we say...the Zina(sexual intercouse) basically come from our sight..we as a man will be close to the Zina if we cannot be able to protect our sight...we as male students hope that the government make a rule to change the colour of the uniform...if this thing can recover,at least it prevent us a little more from the bad things..

Thousand of people have been died when these two disasters happened in China and Myanmar…Now , the victims that have been saved should face some problems when the quantity of the foods, water and medicine becoming decreased…the government from both countries forced themselves to accept the help from other countries although it’s really dangerous because it can be effect the social factor in the both countries…

Our friends in Palestine....Some students went to school to study....but they returned back as Jenazah...They are hungry everyday....they wear old clothes....they always sick....Physical and mental...The are crying everyda...they always remember when they will go to another world....

But...we in Malaysia...we have a lot of mosques...But the mosques are not full with people....We are always busy....work and work...collecting money...we want to challenge who is richest,have the best house and car....untill forget to pay zakat...we in Malaysia....we can shopping...buy the best clothes...but sadly..our women buy clothes that not suitable with them...They buy clothes that suitable for kids....small size...We in Malaysia...always caring about our physical appearance...buying make up tools to make our faces look handsome and beautiful....

Our relatives in Palestine....They live in poor....they don't think anymore about their body....because their body had been cut and injurted...by Zionis soldier....they want to pray in Masjid Al-Aqsa...but they are frighten....worry if a bomb exploited.....that will spread the parts of their body...
